Developed in the 1970s in Silvan, Victoria, Silvanberries are a cross between a Marionberry and a Boysenberry. It bears very heavy crops of very sweet, very large berries that hold well on the vine. They are excellent to eat fresh or frozen, and grow well along a wire trellis either singly or in a cluster.
