ORNAMENTAL PEAR PYRUS NIVALIS SNOW PEAR BR

Also known as the Snow Pear, this attractive tree with erect branching grows to a height of 8 meters. Distinct grey leaves, appearing white and “woolly”, maturing to a silvery green. Clusters of pretty single white flowers are borne in Spring giving a spectacular display followed by small round greenish yellow fruit which is edible and often used for cider making. Fruit can be tart until fully ripe. Yellow Autumn foliage.
