MAPLE ACER PALMATUM ATROPURPUREUM BR

A small vase shaped to broad headed small deciduous tree; this is a large, leafed cultivar with leaves 12 - 15cm long. The new spring foliage is claret red, becoming deep reddish green over summer and then deep claret red in autumn. It also has attractive reddish stems. It is a sunning feature tree when used bot singly and in pairs, it is excellent in decorative containers, in small gardens, and wonderful in a Japanese style garden.
