Teddy bear is a very compact growing evergreen magnolia with an upright, conical habit. It has small to medium dark green oval leaves with a reddish-brown, heavily felted back. When the plants are 3 - 4 years old, they produce flowers from November to May; these lovely, white, fragrant flowers are 150 - 200mm wide. It is a beautiful screening plant that is excellent as a trimmed hedge, but is also an ideal tub plant or stunning feature tree.
