DESCRIPTION:

A deciduous medium to tall shrub with large spikes of lavender-blue, single sweetly scented flowers in spring.

Upright rounded shrub

FOLIAGE: 

Green heart shaped leaves. 

FLOWERS: 

Large spikes of single lavender-blue, sweetly scented flowers in Spring. 

COMMENTS:

Plant in full sun. Prune after flowering. Annual mulching and fertilizer in autumn recommended, with summer watering required. 

TREE CARE: 

Plant in a well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union approximately 5 to 10cm BELOW the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilize when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune to shape if necessary.
