A vigorous deciduous with long canes and large, dark, rounded green leaves. The fibrous brown-green fruit is rich in Vitamin C and highly nutritious. Kiwi fruit requires both a male and female for cross pollination to occur; one male plant will pollinate up to five females. The male plant does not bear any fruit and flowers during late Spring and Summer.

A good climber for pergolas and other outdoor structures. Best eaten fresh by cutting in half and eating the fresh flesh, also suitable for fruit salads and desserts.
