Horticultural Charcoal is a chunky, light weight medium that can be mixed with garden soil to sweeten it. It also helps retain moisture and loosen up mixes and soils, allowing room for root systems development. It can also be added to aquariums to help keep the water fresh, and ideal for creating general purpose orchid mix and epiphytic orchid mix.
