Also known as the Burning Bush or Spindle Bush. This unusual deciduous vase shaped shrub's deep green leaves turn an almost fluorescent shade of scarlet-red in Autumn, accompanied by purplish-red fruits with orange seeds that hang on the plant long into Winter. The cork 'wings' on the stems are another unusual feature. Native to eastern Russia, China, Japan and Korea
