BETULA ALBA SILVER BIRCHBR

An attractive deciduous tree with a slender white trunk that has dark markings towards the base, drooping branchlets with serrated leaves become yellow in autumn. The silver birch has a generally tall, narrow column or cone shape overall. It is an excellent feature tree single, massed, in rows or avenues, and can even be grown in a large container.

Features and care:
- Full sun to Part shade
- Will grow in most garden soils that drain freely
- More tolerant of dry soil conditions than other birches
- Water well during hot summer preiods when establishing
- Frost tolerant
- Grows 12 - 15m H x 1.8 - 2m W

Please only order online if you intend to pick your trees up the same day - bare root stock will be held at the Haddon or Warrnambool nursery until Close of Business on day of purchase; if not picked up, monies will be refunded and trees put back into stock.
