ACER PALMATUM RED PYGMY BR

The long, lace-like leaves are a reddish-maroon in Spring and early Summer, turning to a green later in Summer. The new growth continiues to be a lovely red-maroon which presents a striking contrast to the green foliage. In Autumn, the foliage turns deep tones of orange, yellow and red. A slow growing, compact growing tree suitable for small gardens.

- Full Sun to Part Shade
- Prefers moist, well drained soil
- Prefers a site sheltered from hot winds
- Water often until established
- Should be given a deep soaking when dry
- Grows 2m H x 2m W
