An Australian native tall shrub or small tree with narrow, dark green leaves and golden, cylindrical flowers with prominent red styles blooming in Summer and Autumn, with spot flowering throughout the year. It is an attractive hedging and screening plant that attracts nectar feeding birds; they also are an ideal cut flower.
